NCTC launches Red River Promise
North Central Texas College hosted an official launch party for their Red River Promise program this week, a program that will offer high school students from Cooke and Montague counties, as well as Graham ISD, the opportunity to attend college with varied support services and free tuition and fees.

First United Bank has established the First United Bank Scholarship at North Central Texas College. The bank donated $13,500 this week to the NCTC Foundation to establish this endowed scholarship.
NCTC Foundation honors donors and scholarship recipients
The North Central Texas College Foundation celebrated the accomplishments of students and the donors who helped provide scholarships for those students at the annual Donor and Scholar Breakfast Friday at Lions Gym on the NCTC Gainesville campus.
NCTC pioneers rural college promise program
North Central Texas College was named as a recipient of a Greater Texas Foundation grant to pioneer a Rural College Promise program to produce stronger and more equitable college and workforce outcomes for rural North Texas students.
NCTC Faculty attend virtual TCCTA Leaders Conference
On October 7-9, 2021, NCTC Faculty Senate Officers attended the 41st Texas Community College Teachers Association (TCCTA) Leaders Conference. For the second year in a row, the Conference was held online and included informative presentations and opportunities for attendees to interact with colleagues from across the state.
NCTC receives emergency aid grant
North Central Texas College has recently received the Texas Emergency Aid Roadmap grant, a three-year, $1.5 million grant program, funded by the Greater Texas Foundation.
