Student health matters. Your physical, mental, and even financial health are essential to your college success and living healthy and well. NCTC has student services and connections to resources in the surrounding communities to help you get what you need to keep your health, and therefore your success, on the right track.

Alcohol Awareness & Prevention

AlcoholEdu is an interactive alcohol education program located in your Canvas account that provides awareness training, alcohol abuse prevention, and safe drinking tips for college students. Must be logged into Canvas through OneLogin to access AlcoholEdu.

CARES Team

The Campus Assessment Response Evaluation Services (CARES) Team promotes a safe learning environment for students, faculty, and staff and is committed to taking a proactive approach in helping our students succeed.

Our NCTC Counselors help connect you to resources that provide both short and long-term support, as well as provide trainings to students, faculty, and staff on topics related to mental health and suicide awareness.

Mental health is essential to everyone’s overall health and wellbeing. If you are struggling with your mental health, feeling overwhelmed or anxious, dealing with grief and loss-you’re not alone.

Sexual Misconduct and Title IX

NCTC is committed to compliance with Title IX, which prohibits dating violence, domestic violence, retaliation, sex discrimination, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and stalking.

TimelyCare

NCTC’s TimelyCare provides 24/7 medical and mental telehealth care at NO COST. This service is for current NCTC students and part-time employees.
