Title V Grant: Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions (DHSI)

The Pathways to Completion offers NCTC students a comprehensive suite of services, including academic coaching, goal setting, course planning, skill workshops, leadership training, and professional development.

What is the Title V-DHSI Pathways to Completion Program?

The Title V-DHSI Pathways to Completion grant is a federal program (Administered by the U.S. Department of Education), that helps colleges improve educational opportunities for Hispanic students and other underserved groups, providing opportunities to succeed and have a great college experience.

Student Support

  • Academic Success Coaching helps build your strengths and confidence so you can achieve your goals.

  • Career Coaching provides resources and guidance to help you explore and develop your professional path.

  • Success Strategy Workshops are interactive sessions that support your academic growth and help you reach your achievements.

  • Leadership Development and Training offers opportunities for you to enhance your leadership skills and grow professionally.

Benefits of Program

  • Dedicated student success coach that will work with students throughout the semester. Topics include: Goal setting, study skills, resources, motivation, registration and more.

  • Dedicated career coach that will work with students on resume building, interview prep, internships and more.

  • Access to leadership conferences and trainings.

Through various initiatives and activities, we aim to increase student engagement both inside and outside the classroom, fostering a sense of belonging and community among our student body.

Faculty and Staff Resources

The DHSI grant allows NCTC to strengthen its institutional capacity by investing in faculty development, infrastructure improvements, and technological advancements.
