Demonstrate knowledge of the basic laws of physics including gravity and apply them to the bodies of the solar system.
Compare and contrast the characteristics and properties of the terrestrial and outer planets.
Demonstrate an understanding of the properties of the smaller bodies of the solar system.
Describe the current scientific explanation of the origin and evolution of the solar system.
Analyze and interpret data from laboratory observations to draw valid scientific conclusions and communicate these conclusions in a clear and articulate manner.
